Possible Crypto Bullion Vault Types

• 3rd Party Online Vault (temporary use only!): Open an account with Cryptopia.co.nz, Yobit.net or Cryptomic.com
• CBX Android Mobile Vault (Search Google games on your Android device for CBX Vault)

Speed Up Vault (Windows Version) Transaction Syncronisatoin

• Once personal vault is installed, open the vault and it run to syncronise.
• Once entire blockchain is downloaded, any subsequent syncronisation just involves catching up on the transactions that occurred while your vault was closed.
• Syncronisation of the CBX Vault from scratch is not recommended as it will take a very long time. Here is the best way, using the Bootstrap file.
• Go to http://cryptobullion.io/storage-use/
• Click on 'Blockchain Bootstrap' to download it to your computer.
• When you have the zip file downloaded, unzip it; the file will be in your Downloads folder. Once unzipped, the folder contains another folder and a file.
      folder = txleveldb
      file = blk0001.dat
• Close your CBX Vault, if it is still running.
• Go to your windows start icon at bottom left of your screen and in the search type below text and hit enter:
      %appdata% - Click on AppData folder    Of course you can navigate to this folder manually (instead of searching for it), but it is "Hidden" by default so to do so you will have to make the appData folder visible by changing the settings of your computer (How to unhide the AppData folder).
• This will take you to your /roaming folder, where you will see a folder titled CryptoBullion.
• Open the CryptoBullion folder.
• Remove and replace txleveldb folder and blk0001.dat file with the files from the decompressed BootStrap folder you have downloaded.
• Do not remove or replace anything else (especially wallet.dat; do not move or delete that one!).
• Close allo your windows and then launch again the CBX Vault.
• This will get you a jump start so you do not have to download the blockchain from the beginning of time.

 
How to backup the CBX wallet,dat file

Please always make a backup to your wallet.dat file, in case your hard disk gets corrupted or lost. This file can be placed into any CBX vault to redeem your coins should you lose access to your PC.

• Go to your windows start icon at bottom left of your screen and in the search field type the following text and hit enter:
      %appdata% - Click on AppData folder    Of course you can navigate to this folder manually (instead of searching for it), but it is "Hidden" by default so to do so you will have to make the appData folder visible by changing the settings of your computer (How to unhide the AppData folder).
• This will take you to your roaming folder, where you will see the folder titled CryptoBullion.
• Copy the wallet.dat file to a backup/thumb drive (copying to 2 different backup/thumb drives is preferable in case one gets lost)

 
Special notes:

• To stake with your CBX Vault, leave it running and in "staking mode": Staking mode is keeping the Vault either "Unlocked" or "Unlocked for staking" (Click on the Padlock icon from the Top Menu)
• The PoSP staking of a given input or CBX address starts immediately after having been immobile for just one hour
• If you do not see the message "Info: Staking suspended due to locked Vault." then you are staking. Be patient, PoSP rewards are on their way!
• Once your Vault is "synced" (the entire blockchain is downloaded), the subsequent sync activity will be just catching up on the transactions that occurred while your vault was closed.
• You can encrypt your Vault with a password for additional security, and this is recommended, but keep in mind that while locked you will not receive PoSP staking rewards.
